We've carefully selected a combination of nutritious plants, fruits, roots and seaweed to create a delicious chocolate and fruit powder designed to complement both sides of your day.
The ingredients have been carefully selected for their nutritional qualities and purity. The majority are organic, sourced from carefully selected wholesalers who even go so far as to test the soil of the farmers for mineral content, and all ingredients are selected to be free from detrimental agricultural chemicals. The formulation is gently air-dried at no more than 34°C to help preserve its natural nutritional value, then made by hand in small batches, with care and attention to every batch.
The result is a delicious nutritional powder providing 4.6 g of protein and 2.4 g of fibre in every 20 g serving, together with a broad range of vitamins and minerals.
Every 20 g serving provides 45% of the NRV for copper, 40% manganese, 31% vitamin C and 30% folate, alongside useful amounts of iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, vitamins B1, B2, B6 and E, and zinc.
Scientific research has investigated the nutritional properties and potential health benefits of many of these plants and ingredients, including their relationship with energy metabolism, fatigue, nutritional status, melatonin producing, antioxidant protection and general wellbeing.
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal muscle and nervous-system function. Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin and normal oxygen transport, while manganese contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Two to three teaspoons a day, mixed with a glass of your favourite milk or milk substitute, makes a delicious drink — in the morning and/or afternoon. Not after 7pm (4 hours before bed).
